Artistic Director & Choreographer | Choreologist | Community Developer

Who am I
Passionate about human relations, I attach great importance to collaboration and transmission. My philosophy is to use culture as a means for communication and social change. I am a trilingual Artistic Director & Choreographer, Choreologist and a community developer in the field of social work. I live and work mainly in Geneva.
As dance was the initial motivation of my commitment to social work, I continued my training at the Trinity Laban Conservatory of Music & Dance in London. I obtained a Diploma in Dance Studies (2013), a Master in Creative Practice (2015) and finally a Specialist Diploma in Choreological Studies (2018).
For several years, I have pursued my professional career with enthusiasm, in a constant search for solutions, creativity and innovation. I am a dynamic, versatile and enthusiastic person, as well as reliable, diligent and caring.
My commitments
In 2017 I joined Rencontres Professionnelles de danse de Genève (a non-profit dance organisation). Since 2017, I have been a dance expert at the Commission intercantonale des Arts de la Scène du Jura et Jura bernois (CiCAS). I am also a dance and theatre expert for the the Commission Francophone des Affaires Culturelles Générales du canton deBerne (CFACG). My commitment to these two organisations allows me to take an active role in the cultural development of my birth region. As a member of the Forum Culture since 2016, I contribute to the cultural promotion and development of the Arc Jurassien. My participation since 2010 in the Swiss French-speaking platform for community development work, Anim, allows me to keep up-to-date with the evolution and stakes of the profession.
In constant search of collaboration, my professional network benefits from contacts both in Switzerland and abroad thanks to my academic and professional activities. The latter involve direct teaching (courses and projects) and indirect teaching (community development work). My pedagogical approach is largely influenced by Paulo Freire (1921 - 1997).
My expertise
In addition to my commitment to CiCAS and CFACG, and as part of my research activities, I write articles for the specialized press, foundations and academia. My research is based on choreology and practice-led research.
